How old are you, and where you from?
30 years old, and I'm from Pennsylvania
How long have you crossdressed?
7 Years
Are you heterosexual? Bisexual? Unsure?
I’ve been with a guy (while I was "dressed"). But wasn’t super into it. So I'd say heterosexual?
Are you currently in a relationship?
No, not at the moment.
How important is passing to you?
It’s definitely a goal, but that won’t stop me from going out to “safe places.” If I was fully, 100%, no doubt passable, I would go out anywhere.
What would you like to do with your crossdressing moving forward?
Go out to more public places. Have more experiences "dressed.” And make a social circle around it with safe people in a safe environment.
Are you public about your crossdressing?
Unfortunately, no I am not public. Just because I knew it would be a whole "thing." I wish it wouldn’t be a "thing," but I'm afraid of how being open about my crossdressing may affect potential relationships. I just am not necessarily willing to risk my current social life because of it.
What’s your favorite thing to wear? What would you say your style is?
Pretty much maxi dresses or summer dresses. I hate skinny jeans.
What do you wish you did differently in your life?
If I knew the crossdressing was here to stay, I’d open up about it earlier in my life. But I think at the same time that’s easier said than done, because the bullying with peers “if it goes bad” could be much worse. Also, if your parents react bad to it then that could get complicated really quickly. But If it goes well. You’d be more free as an adult. I guess the real answer is... get rid of the risk/potential pain as soon as possible.
What advice would you give to other crossdressers or those questioning their gender or sex?
When starting out, try to invest in “normal looking” clothes. Look at what women around you wear and kinda imitate it while making it your own. A few reasons. The first being, I think it would make it easier for people to accept you. Second, if someone finds your stash and all you have is lingerie, it’s going to be real hard to explain that it’s not a fetish. If it is a fetish, then fine. But people don’t like knowing about other people’s kinks if not solicited. It’s like everything. People say be you. And that works to some extent. Maybe you’d like being naked at your house. But you can’t be THAT kinda you outside.
Why did you come on the podcast? [Would you recommend others to come on the podcast?]
Because I was looking to know myself better by finding about other people like me. How they feel and what they go through. And yes for sure. I highly recommend others to be on the podcast. Giselle is a bit of a bad influence, but the best kind of bad influence anyone could get!
